Philadelphia born and raised. I've been living in Tokyo for over 9 years now. With more than 10 years of experience in web development, I've worked on a wide range of client projects varying in size and complexity. At MagicalTrip, I focus primarily on the development of our customer-facing storefront as well as backend systems, helping to deliver seamless user experiences and scalable infrastructure.

I'm originally from the Netherlands and now living in Tokyo, with around 15 years of experience as a web developer. Before moving to Japan, I worked for a major travel company in Amsterdam, building large-scale platforms. These days, I lead the development team at MagicalTrip, focusing on team growth and creating user-friendly, scalable products.
Martijn Boom
Full Stack Developer
Dutch by background, with professional stints in Estonia and Hong Kong, I'm now based in Tokyo and part of the MagicalTrip team since 2022. As a developer, I focus on data and architecture, working across our products to build scalable solutions that support the company's growth and vision.
Evan Peterson
Full Stack Developer
I'm originally from Canada and have called Yokohama home since 2010. I joined MagicalTrip as a software developer in 2023 after a varied professional background. My work mainly involves building tools that help our operations team work more efficiently.
Shota Miyazaki
Mobile Developer
I'm originally from Fukuoka, Japan. While I was a university student, I began my career as a freelance software developer. Through freelance work, I gained experience with various Japanese software companies. In 2021, I started working with MagicalTrip as an external contractor, and in 2024, I joined as a full-time member. At MagicalTrip, I'm responsible for the development and management of the entire Guide App system.
